Human being to the mob
What’s a mob to a king?
What’s a king to a god?
What’s a god to a non-believer?
Who don’t believe in anything?
Well i believed that this colab between two of the biggest hitters in hip hop history
was going to well… Revive hip hop and initiate the (pardon the cliche)
!!!THE NEW GOLDEN ERA!!!!
After listening to it for the third time the only thing I could compare it too
was intercourse between two virgins, after the initial “fuck yeah feeling” it soon dawns on you that it aint
that great.
Apart from a few notable tracks, No church in the wild, welcome to the jungle, why i love you,
the album felt smug like Jay and kanye sat there and thought well that will do regardless and our fan base will
love it because we made it.
The beats… Average
The Lyrics… Half arsed
The Message… BLACK POWER! MOTHER FUCKER!
The pro black power theme was so predominant through the album it got to the point where my younger brother
even picked up on it whilst he was slagging off some americans on call of duty.
Now don’t get me wrong it’s a good listen I wouldn’t say it was bad album but it didn’t match the hype with such big names on an album an all time classic was almost assured but they somehow managed to miss it.
I guess there’s always J.Cole, Jay Elctronica, Outkast, and dare i say even Dr Dre who still have albums to drop and try to initiate this
!!!NEW GOLDEN ERA!!!
but for now were still stuck in the bronze age.
