Fashion Fashion Fashion. Do you even rate fashion? Is it about wearing the same thing that everyone else is wearing? is it about standing out? being special? Fashion is so temporary one week your wearing a wolly cap then a New Era cap and then a snap back. Is there anything that stays cool forever? Whether you like it or not the way you dress says something about you. Follow trends then your a conformist, I’m at a certain point in my life where I don’t want to follow trends however, I don’t what to stand out or be unrelevant.

“I think most people want to sit in the area where they Fit in but are different at the same time”
So how do you sit in this area. I think you have to wear timeless garms, these are things that seemingly unaffected by time and changes in trends. Here are 5 trainers i think are timeless(not in any particular order).
1.Nike Air force 1-All white everything!
All white Air force ones are a classic, they look nice with pretty much all kind of jeans, simple but affective. The only thing I don’t like about Air force one’s is the crease you get at the from after wearing it a few times.
2.Converse- Chuck Taylor Red and Blue piping
These creps are very clean, they give that sophisticated casual look. These look nice on both guys and girls
3.Air Max1- Red, White and grey colour way
One of my favourite creps Air max one’s.There’s something about this colour combination which really sits with me .They look good with chino’s (pin roll ups)/ jeans
4.Adidas Stan Smiths
An absolute classic, my Adeedas.Again these creps are very simple but the fact that a 10 year old and a 50 year old can wear the same crep and it still be cool really says something.

To conclude I think that the reason why these sneakers (trainers, I’m British) are timeless is because of the their simple design and minimal use of colours. Notice that all of them are white, white goes with everything. I also noticed that if there any colours in the “sneakers” they tend to be prime. e.g red and blue. Also most of these trainers can be worn by different social group i.e the yuppies, hipsters, urban and professionals .Anyway I purposely left the 5th classic trainer blank. What do you think is the fifth timeless “sneaker” ? Also let me know if you think the creps I’ve listed above are timeless? leave comments below.

it really is, it never gets old
You could add the Dunlop Volley (Australia's iconic sneaker) to that list too (I am bias of course, being an Australian!)
