“YOUR NOT ALLOWED IN MATE!!!! COLLARS ONLY, COLLARS ONLY YOU GOT THAT???!!”
PAAARR!!!
Something a few of the man dem may have herd once or twice in a life time? A sentence that holds a Mike Tyson right hook, to bring your weekend crashing to pieces, and a sentence we all don’t want to hear at all!
So this week I’ve featured part one of this two part, smart style.

When choosing a smart outfit, whether it be for a casual weekend out, or a board room meeting, I like to start with the trousers.
Everyone may have their own preferences to choosing an outfit, but I feel that starting at the trousers you can work, inwards-out to create a perfect picture.
1. Pair of grey slim fit trouser provided by River Island. At £34.00, it’s a nice way to keep some extra cash in the pocket for extra drinks! (www.riverisland.com)
2. Finding the correct shirt to complement your trousers should be key when trying to look smart. In this case I’m going to give you insight into what a REAL shirt is. Provided by John Varvatos at a pocket crunching $225.00, this slick contrast collar shirt will have you looking VIP! (www.johnvarvatos.com)
3. $225.00 is a lot of money, so I’ve found a brilliant alternative. Previously £85.00 and now at just £45.00 you can bag yourself a quality bargain. (www.jaeger.co.uk)
4. If your not dressing to impress, you can always tone it down with a pair of comfortable Chinos provided by Banana Republic for £55.00. Chinos are a good way to keep comfort at the centre of your swagger. (bananarepublic.gap.eu)
5. Most important, picking the right shoes.
” To wear dreams on one’s feet is to begin to give reality to one’s dreams.” - Roger Vivier.
I try to choose as comfortable as possible, and I know with smart shoes sometimes it can be a little bit difficult. I’ve chosen these free ribbon moccasin shoes, from Zara at £49.99 (www.zara.com)
6. Not a fan of moccasins? Then I’ve chosen something a little less presidential and found these rubber Glimp casual shoes, provided by Aldo, which I would recommend to anyone buying shoes. £65.00 (www.aldoshoes.com)
7. I had to feature this Benjart hat, which I think would go well with any smart atire without spoiling the swag. I feel hot just looking at it. Coming in with great value of only £25.00. (www.benjartclothing.com)
So there you have it a little step guide of how to SUIT UP!!
Look out for Part two which will be featuring full pieced suits.
Holla
