Things are coming along nicely and orders are slowly coming in. We are now in the process of developing our web site and blog and luckily for us we have friends who are web and graphic designers. We have therefore, been able to obtain both for free. This has saved us huge amounts of money. However, isit really free? Now we owe both our friends 1. So, when the day comes and they ask for a favour back we are obligated to comply. Consequently, the favour they ask back in return may outweigh what they did for us. Is anything really free? My theory on business is that a good business is built on relationships with a foundation of trust. Favours must be given and received in order for a startup company 2 survive. So when my friends come knocking I’ll be sure answer.
