Anita Blay, better known as CocknBullKid, has made one of the year’s most fascinating pop albums ‘Adulthood’. DJ Steffie’s style Is tropical! 2011 has seen her rocking festivals such as Camden Crawl & Lovebox, performing to Russian crowds as well as regularly tearing off the roofs at Shoreditch House, Concrete & various fashion events. www.steffiemusic.co.uk

DJ Fearney cranks up the Shoreditch House roof-top, and follows in the footsteps of Dizzee Rascal and Lethal B, running London town through the airwaves of Deja Vu Radio. www.mixcloud.com/fearney

LIVE ACTS:

StooShe have already been tipped for the top everywhere from the underground urban press to the broadsheets. RWD described them as “majorly exciting” and that they represented “a new strain of UK feminist activity”, The Guardian compared them to “an X-rated En Vogue”, while Disorder stated: “Think of St. Trinian’s but so much cooler.” This is Destiny’s Child without the religion. Independent women with balls! stooshe.com

Holly Walker is a piano-bashing songstress who writes punchy, knowing tunes that provoke both sobbing and raving simultaneously. Channelling everything from folk to hip hop to dubstep, this stuff makes you want to throw shapes, yet is driven always by soulful, intelligent lyrics. Holly also writes for other artists including Jakwob and new hip hop talent Adian Coker, this of course is alongside the release of her own EP, which BBC Introducing have askd Holly to perform live on BBC Radio London as a featured artist. hollywalkersongs.com

Emma Topolski is a jazz/soul/pop, singer/songwriter with a timeless and wonderfully rich vocal style.  Live, her show is rousing and most recent performances have been to sell out crowds at Ronnie Scott’s and the Camden Jazz Cafe. emmatopolski.bandcamp.com/
