Today we got paid! It feels good we can really do this! We completed an order for Deborah Anderson, Marketing/Entrepreneurship lecturer. The t shirts were used for a campaign which encourages older and younger students to interact with one another.
One thing I learnt about Deborah is that she is a ruthless buyer. Her negotiation skills are nuts she managed to drive down by stating how the t shirts are not an important part of the overall campaign. However, we still did it for the reduced price because having Kingston university as a reference will enhance our credibility massively, and CREDIBILITY IS EVERYTHING in the
printing world.
The ideal outcome of negotiation is a win-win solution. This is where both parties come away from the deal with no remorse or the feeling they have been cheated. This increases the chances of a repeat order. Deborah got her T-shirts and we gained credibility and an experience in negotiation
