Milly’s World Recap: May
0 Thursday June 2 2011 Written by flyprintsFollow me on Twitter and Facebook
A couple of weeks ago, team FLYPRINTS rolled down to Milly’s World, a music showcase event that takes place every 2 months in Camden.
The line up was composed of some artists I had heard of, and some I hadn’t which is always a good mix. The first thing to be said about this night was that the talent on show was of a ridiculously high standards. As a single night of performances it had the most musical strength that i’ve seen out of all other music showcases that I’ve attended. Usually you get a good line up with a mix of exceptional performances and mediocre performances but all the artists at Milly’s world left your jaw hanging.
What I also liked about this event was the crowd, they were very engaging and even though it wasn’t the biggest crowd I’ve seen, there was so much appreciation and love shown for the artists performances.
Performing on the night were: Cleo Sol, Obenewa, Juliette Ashby, Angel & Pepstar
Check back soon for the video recap!

The hostest with the mostest @millyallen

Angel: When I first saw this dude I expected some hipster emcee to perform, but first impression can be deceptive as this gentleman had the SMOOTHEST r&b vocals @thisisangel

Pepstar: @PepstarUK

Cherri V @cherriv

Somebodies Mum: This woman was drunk as a skunk, I caught her pushing the wall in the ladies toilets thinking it was the door to get out LOL

I wonder if the drapes match the carpet?

Favourite picture of the night: I tried to think of something funny to say, but they say ‘A picture speaks a thousand words!’
Note: Apologies to Cleo Sol and Obenewa for not having photo’s of their performances our 9-5′s kept us as at work late and we missed the start of the event. But be sure to check out their videos below, both ladies are STUPENDOUSLY talented.
Obenewa:
