Lil wayne Carter 4 or 3.5?

Since November 2010 we have all been awaiting for the release of carter 4 from the rapper Lil wayne. It’s been talked about blogged about and by some die hard fans dreamt about. But now its here, and has it lived up to hype. Well categorically no. My first point is, just how many of these tunes are new? We’ve already heard 6 foot 7 foot, Nightmares of the bottom, She will (Feat. Drake), John and How to love. So what’s really left to amaze us? The only real good tune left here is President Carter, and the only reason why I say this is because this is the only one with some good lyrical content. I don’t know maybe its just me but has the days of Lil wayne taking over the uk music scene over or is this just a brief interlude for something great,. Or maybe its just because we’ve had a break from him and had time to digest artist such as Frank Ocean, that now our musical pallet has changed (or just mine), but by the looks of this below parr album Lil wayne will have to go back to the drawing boards with his next and hopefully bring in some new artists at the same time. None the less, we have time to look forward to long awaited albums from J.cole and Drake. Hopefully they can restore my faith in the American music scene (and yes I know Frank ocean is American but he’s hardly big enough to restore my faith)
