LE SCRATCH EVENT RE-CAP!!!!

So last week Thursday Flyprints, Jeffery and I went down to the Le Scratch event at the Bloomsbury bowling lanes…showcasing a live PA, DJ battle, bowling lanes and Hip Hop all night!!! :D

We got their kinda early, but to be fair there was still a lot going on…a big buzz of good energy! Hip Hop karaoke rooms (which I thought was really impressive), bowling lanes and others just chilling at the bar listening to the DJ on rotation….. I would probably say so far so good at that point.

The live PA came on a guy called Phaze One….major distraction from the people in the bowling lanes but you did your thang…he’s got a sick story telling flow, liked the “inhale breath” tune.. highly catchy!!  A DJ battle took place, 3 contestants took to decks battling out and allowing us the crowd to decide to whom had us bussing moves on the dance floor….to my knowledge of the battle in between my Malibu and Coke intervals :s … the winner won a watch..So well done to that DJ battle winner *thumbs up*!

But what I think caught most people’s attention of the night was the photographer Ricky Diaghe aka the Sorcerer with  his unique style of photography of light images projected on image …Check out his Facebook page-The Sorcerer-Photographer your images are remarkable! Following up to the peak of night was DJ motive…well…. *sigh* what can I say as usual… he tore it up, beyond and all the above .Continuing through to the end of night was back 2 back  of old skool Hip Hop, ultimate raving  anthems..You know the ones that get the crowd pumping and shouting OOOOOOOOOOH!!!  And the current new Hip Hop tunes for the true Hip Hoppers…So my verdict of the Le Scratch event was an immense of good vibes and good music which I truly enjoyed :)
