JUST BLAZE VS ALCHEMIST SOUNDCLASH

Last week TeamFlyprints went to PlanB for a 12 round bout between 2 of hip-hops heavyweights.

Spin Doctor warmed up the crowd with some old school hip-hop, RNB and a dope 2 hour Dilla style set. For all those who’ve been living under a rock Spin Doctor recently Dj’d at the Jdilla tribute event.

Track after track Spin Doctor had the crowd skanking to the tunes, even the dude working in the toilets was vibing to the music while handing people tissues and cologne.

2 o clock hit and it was time for the clash between the 2 titans. In the right corner we have “ AH AH AH ALCHEMIST “ and in the left corner we have JUUUUST BLAAAAAAZE!”

First to kick of the battle was JustBlaze with a Classic Dipset Anthem when Camron dropped the first verse the crowd was fully GASSED(Excited). Then Alchemist droped a beat and I was fully gassed, infact so Hyped had to hand the camera over to Nyla and skank it out!

Now some may argue that JustBlaze cheated because he played more recent commercial chart songs were as Alchemist was playing more instrumental beats he had created for artists. I personally felt it was an even battle as Alchemist had some tricks up his own sleeves and even went as far as chopping up a beat and sewing it live in front of the crowd.

Collectively both producers put on an amazing show and got through most of their discography.

The Doctor’s Orders did a good job of hosting the event at PlanB as the venue was the perfect size with a good P/A system,Only down side about the event was it was a complete sausage fest! “TO MANY MAN, TO MANY MANY MAN”. Infact after getting some feedback from JustBlaze he reported that while he was in the toilet taking a leak one male groupie walked in and opened the door to say “YOOO JUST BLAAAAAAAZE, loved the show man, cant wait till next year homie” to JustBlazes shock he closed the door and told the dude “cant you see im trying to take a piss”.

Seems male groupies are becoming worse and worse these days! When did it become cool to follow any dude into a toilet. That shiznit just aint right man!! Overall the event was very good and Teamflyprints looks forward next years clash.
