iPHONE 5 REVEALED TODAY
0 Tuesday October 4 2011 Written by HeroSo today is the day that many people, myself included, have been waiting for – the ‘big reveal’ of the next iPhone generation
Apple sent out an email to developers about a week ago for the event after nearly 6 months of speculation about the new release, tomorrow everything will be revealed
As apple keeps everything TOP secret with new products, except for when they are accidentally left in a bar , it is hard to be confident with information from any source – but they don’t come much more reliable than Mr Al Gore, who is on the apple board (yes THE Al Gore) – he stated he was warned ‘Not to mention the new iPhones coming out next month’ when talking to a writer for a Tech mag.
new iPhones?! Yep, from all available sources I can confidently say we will see 2 products at tomorrow’s big day – the much awaited iPhone 5 but also an iPhone 4s – a faster version of the current iPhone -which would be the ‘cheaper’ option.
The only change on the 4s will PROBABLY be a screen that goes across to the edges of the phone

While the iPhone 5 will see a complete redesign with potentially a curved back to the phone – and an even thinner design
Whats really exciting though, is the introduction of iOS 5 – the operating system that will also be rolled out on the phones, featuring iMessage – heralded as a BBM killer – allowing you to message any other iOS devices (iPad, iPhone, iPod) for free!
If you’re already drooling at the prospect of the new iPhone theres good news and bad news, we will get to see it tomorrow, but it will not be available to buy until October 14th, I believe.
Apple stores are closing to gear up for the new product release across the world
We’ll have to wait and see exactly what apple has up its sleeve tomorrow, but I can’t wait
