What’s your name and tell me abit about your self?
I go by the name mic fetish, I’m an artist, I do illustration, I do canvases and I paint walls on the streets.
So tell me a bit about this piece your doing?
It’s basically a painting with a guy called love pusher. Who paints positive, inspiring letter forms. My characters tend to be more on the dark side so, we came up with this idea of love and death. I’m painting a skull that represents death and he’s painting he’s usual stuff. He’s letter forms, radiating energy.
So how long have you been doing art in general for?
I’ve been art since I was a kid, I’e been doing graffitti for probably for about 10 years now, but I’ve been taking it serious for about 7.
For any person who wants to get into this kind of thing have you got any advice?
Just practice allot sketch a hell of allot before you go out and put stuff up. Try and really express your self when your doing it and try not to follow in the footsteps of other people too much. Just try and come up with your own style, push that and I think people will ultilmatly recognise you for doing your own thing.
Who inspired you?
Who inspires me I say I’m more inspired by things like comics and animation and movies than I am by the graffitti artist. But, yea you know pop culture, sub culture, japanese culture inspires me allot. Manga, anime that who thing.
So how can people buy your stuff and find out about you?
http://www.inkfetish.co.uk/bio that’s regurally updated with my new work. Upcoming exebitions and shows yea.
