The Diversitoys
flyprints | ADVENTURES IN BUSINESS,TALK BUSINESS | Saturday April 10 2010So i did learn something at Waitrose, at Waitrose one of their main things is customer service. Waitrose goes above and beyond to ensure they keep their customers happy and this is what i have seemed to adopt . Anyway last week we had an order from a friend of mine for her daughter. Her daughter is a huge fan of ’Diversity’ the dance group and she and her friend wanted customised tops for their concert. I had printed the tops a day before the concert and needless to say i had spelt one of the names wrong . (stooopiddd) i only found this out at 12pm in the evening so, i had until 4pm the next day to replace the top. ( i would also loose my profits and incur a cost). In the end i managed to replace the top (free of charge)and i said i would give her a free top if ever she needed it.
Final thoughts
To me the top was just another order, but to our customer it was an unforgettable evening which had to be perfect. if I had refused to replace the top I would have not only ruined a young lady’s evening and also discredit the Flyprints brand . We should never underestimate the affect we have on other people’s lives.
