This is what happens when 5 artists get together and make sh*t happen. The ‘Ben Oakley Gallery’ is a new art space situated in Greenwich, the artist currently exhibiting their work include Ben Oakley,Theo Szarowickz, Evertt Jaime, Bobby Tonge and Rowan Newton.

This was Jazz’s favourite piece, done by Rowan Newton I like the uses of colours and the random peieces of cardboard and wood he produces his artwork on. http://rowannewton.co.uk/

A lot of Rowans art is very sexual, he loves to use women and animals as he’s subject matter.

We all thought Theo Szarowicz made a self -portrait.

lifestyle of an artist.

The Venue used to be a bakery hence the name ‘Use your loaf’ on the entrance, I like how they stripped back all the tiling and left the walls bare.

read the message and do as it says.

This is one of my personal favourites, done by Ben Oakley http://www.benoakley.com/index.html

“I only have one pair of shoes… by choice… but they brush up well”. http://www.bobbytonge.com/

Another papier mache Piece done by Bobby Tonge. Check out the About me section on his site, it’s hilarious!

Cool events will be held in this space soon so, keep your eyes and ears peeled we’ll keep you informed.

This is the kind of art I like, unpretentious, bright and bold. The Gallery is open from Thursdays – Sunday , 11am – 6pm.
