The first time i saw AKS perform was at ADLIB (variety show) and to be honest before he got on-stage I wasn’t expecting much(i’ve seen a million rappers) however, he surprised me with the depth and comlexity of he’s lyrics. On the 10th of April AKS  officially launched he’s new EP ‘The bus stop’, supported friends of the blog Shakka and Kay Young as well as Wilson & J the Exodus the event was sold out. Check out the pictures from the event below.

 

KAY YOUNG-singer, songwriter, producer and rapper. Special things coming from this young lady. Watch this space.

 

GREEDS- host of the event, he is also a poet by trade, a very good one.

The launch was a forecast for whats to come . The real question is, is the main stream ready for this kind of music? Lets hope AKS  and friends can bring the underground to the overground.
