Today’s track of the week is a freestyle by Akala (Miss Dynamite’s brother). I myself wasn’t too keen on him i found him to be too preachy however, today’s guest Blogger convinced me otherwise. Today’s Guest Blogger is Charlie Marriott, a DJ from east London with and eclectic music taste (he introduced me to Jay Electronica). OK enough from me i’ll leave it to Charlie.

With a music scene filled with artists glamorising, Fame, money, sex, drugs, and violence there is little room for artists who truly want to express themselves and there own views. But the UK grime scene gave birth to a breath of fresh air over five years ago the first UK rap song (War) was released buy Ms Dynamite’s brother Akala.
Since then he has released two albums, It’s not a rumour and Freedom Lasso though he may not be huge on the main stream his music had a clear message don’t follow, lead.
After 3 years he is back with a new album called Doublethink and is looking to again attack the stereotypical artists with his mix of electro, rock, and hip hop and it’s looking to be BIG!
